Soup, etc.

These are my first attempt at a gluten-free version of the crackers from Food in Jars. Not as puffy, but without gluten, it's understandable. I'm going to keep experimenting with toppings for them, but these ones were absolutely delicious - sesame seeds, garlic powder & garlic salt, and fennel seeds.
I also finally started a jar of what will hopefully be delicious pickled eggs in beet juice. Idea and recipe courtesy of Miss Stacy McCool. If all goes well (and really, how can it not?), I will make lots of giant jars.
